HINTON AREA FOUNDATION (West Virginia) is Hiring:

HINTON AREA FOUNDATION (HAF) seeks to hire an Executive Assistant, who will aid the Executive Director in the day-to-day operations of the Foundation office. The Executive Assistant will report directly to the Executive Director.

HAF serves the Summers County community of WV to encourage philanthropic giving to permanent endowed funds in support of the charitable needs of the County.

We are seeking a candidate who is proficient in bookkeeping skills, and familiar with Microsoft Office programs and QuickBooks (Nonprofit) Online (or similar program). Contact management and data entry experience is required. The Executive Assistant needs to present professionally in their dress and demeanor, providing friendly, knowledgeable public service in-person, by phone and on Zoom. They should be able to work collaboratively with staff and volunteers, and have a desire to learn and grow.

The ability to provide regular financial reports in a timely manner as required by the Executive Director and Board of Directors is a must. A strong sense of organization and attention to detail, as well as the ability to handle confidential information with a high degree of discretion is essential.

HAF prefers the candidate to have a minimum Associate’s Degree or verifiable work experience using the skills listed. The salary range and the opportunity to work full-time will depend on experience, expertise and a willingness to learn.
